Socialism versus so-called American Capitalism (round one)

I am not a socialist. I am realist.

Real: Sweden, Finnland, Denmark, France, Norway, Switzerland, all "socialist" for the most part. What does this mean? It means they have very low crime rates, amazing infrastructures, small business flourishes, all have medical care, people are happy and despite their being societal woes, for the most part, people are safe and sound and glad to be alive.

Real: America today. Can't pay the mortgage? 4 kids and no job, your fault, not mine, give us the keys please. Make a new plan Stan. Health care, you got it you say, well, now, you are real sick and that treatment is gonna cost us a lot of money, so...sorry, look again, no health care. Slip out the back Jack. Roads crumbling and bridges falling? Too bad--we are busy freeing people from the sand who never wanted freeing anyway! $billions each month poured into Iraq and Afghanistan but your community is crumbling...too bad, this is big-business driven American capitalism.

Guess what, dear friends, I chose "socialism"!

Perhaps you should move out of the States then. Oh wait...
